Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose stories of young heartache achieved widespread recognition in the beginning of the 21st century. Swift began showing an interest in the music industry as early as age. Her career progressed rapidly from children's play roles, to her first public appearance in front of a large crowd. Swift was just 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the following year she wrote her first songs and began playing guitar. Inspiring herself by country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift left Pennsylvania along with her parents into Hendersonville, Tennessee after she turned 13 to devote more time to wooing labels of country music in Nashville.
